I'm a little Speechless
I'm not sure that I can really write anything that adequately describes how hysterical that I thought it was when I walked into our bedroom and found my two favorite people watching cartoons looking like this:

Allison's Salon Day
Allison spent the night with Nana last night. When they got up this morning, they had a morning of pampering (as if Allison never gets pampered). Nana painted Allison's fingernails and toenails. After that, my brother's family came to Nana's, and my sister-in-law, Lisa, french-braided Allison's hair. Let me just tell you, she has thought she is hot stuff all afternoon. She had such a good time.

Three Years in Review
As I have been working on the details for Allison's upcoming birthday, I've been getting a little nostalgic. So, I thought I would share with you some of my very favorite photographs of Allison over the past three years (can it be possible that she is turning three in a couple of weeks?)
I decided to start with the beginning:
Our first family photograph right after we met her for the first time:

And, to this day, every time I look at this picture I am just in awe of how full of grace and mercy my God really is:

And this is a picture of my OB/GYN holding Allison when she was one-week old. We named Allison after him.

What a FUN Day!!!!
Annabelle came over today for a play day with Allison while Christina went to the doctor. I LOVE to watch them play. It does everything good for my soul.
We did artwork:

They had a snack:

They played dress-up:

And while Christina and I were making this for her baby:

The girls snuck into the bathroom for a little time of their own:

But this is my favorite picture of all:

ALL ABOARD!
Allison and I took a fun little outing today down to the River Market. They just opened a pedestrian bridge that spans across the Arkansas River to North Little Rock. It's official name is "The Junction Bridge", but it became known as "The Troll Bridge" today for Allison. She thought it was the bridge from "Dora the Explorer" where Dora encounters a troll before she gets to cross.
While we were walking across the bridge, Allison spotted the trolley crossing the Main Street bridge and decided that she wanted to ride the "train". So, we did! It was so much fun - we took a one-hour scenic tour of Little Rock & North Little Rock. Allison was so happy!

A Day at the Park
Allison and I went with Nana to the park today. It brought back some OLD memories. We went to Laurel Park, which is a park we went to on "special" occasions when I was little. I don't think I have been there since I was in high school.
We had so much fun. They have really fixed the park up, and there are so many beautiful, old trees around that it makes it the perfect place to play in the shade.
